Dr. Brent Fry

Education
Dr. Fry received his bachelor's degree from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN in 1993 and his doctor of optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1998. After practicing optometry in Franklin, TN for four years, Dr. Fry moved back to Knoxville with his family and opened Premier Eyecare in September 2002.  Dr. Fry attends many educational seminars throughout the year to stay current with the latest clinical procedures and information.

Personal History
Dr. Fry grew up in Knoxville and graduated from Farragut High School in 1988. After graduating optometry school, Dr. Fry married his wife Melinda. They now reside in Farragut with their two children. Dr. Fry and his family attend the Hardin Valley Church of Christ.

Personal Message
It is my personal pledge to run my practice in a professional manner seeking to improve the quality of life of the people in the  Knoxville community through better vision. I will offer the highest quality products and deliver the best possible service to my patients and will always put their needs above all else.

  Mary Crabtree

Experience

Mary is our office manager and is also one of our licensed dispensing opticians.  She earned her associates degree in opticianry science at Roane State Community College in 1993.  She recently earned her bachelors degree in organizational management concentrating in human resources in 2008. Mary always seems to find the "perfect pair" of eyeglasses for our patients. She works hard at the position of office manager but also continues to work closely with our patients as a licensed optician.

Personal History

Mary is married to her husband Bill who is an occupational therapist. She has a son, a daughter, and a grand-daughter. Mary moved to Knoxville from Chattanooga in 2002 where she worked as a manager of a busy retail optical chain.

  Amy

Experience

Amy joined our team in July 2009 as our Front Office Coordinator. She is currently enrolled in courses through the University of Tennessee for medical administration, billing, and coding and is looking forward to becoming a Certified Coding Specialist.

Personal History

Amy is married and has a young daughter. Her family moved from North Carolina in 2008 and she has really enjoyed living in Knoxville. Some of her interests include reading, writing, and watching college football on the weekends.

  Heather

 

Experience

Heather is one our our licensed dispensing opticians who earned her associates degree in opticianry science at Roane State Community College in 2001. Heather has been in the optical field since 2000 and loves getting to know her patients and finding the right pair of glasses that matches their personality and lifestyle. Heather came to work with us in February 2008 where she was previously a manager of a busy retail chain.

Personal History

Heather and her husband Chris enjoy spending time with their family. In their spare time they enjoy competing in a fantasy football league and playing for their co-ed softball team.

  Caitlin

 

Experience

Caitlin joined our practice in June 2009 after moving to Knoxville from Atlanta. Caitlin worked in Atlanta as a medical assistant for a busy, multi-doctor pediatric practice. Her responsibilities included vision and hearing screenings. This background has given Caitlin valuable experience in caring for our patients.

Personal History

Caitlin is married and has two wonderful dogs. As an animal lover Caitlin enjoys taking her dogs for walks and volunteering at animal shelters.
